BESCHREIBUNG & EINTEILUNG

Villa Felinas is a charming French house, set in a large south-oriented garden with swimming pool. In the garden (close to the kitchen) is a large dining table for 8-10 people. During summer you will spend most of the time outside the house.

The 3000m2 garden is fenced with ornamental bushes and from the garden you have a marvelous view of the valley. Privacy guaranteed. Children will love the trampoline, swing, rope ladder and swinging tires. There's a large stone oven in the garden for barbecue or evening fire. The garden offers enough space to set up at tent for the children.

The 10x5 m heated pool lies in the second part of the garden (behind a closed fence). The pool is surrounded with a large terrace of approx. 170 m2.

From the backyard you enter the kitchen (13m2), equipped with dishwasher, electric oven with ceramic hob and microwave.

The kitchen gives access to the living room (25m2) with woodstove. The living room has a large corner seat and dining table for 6. Also satellite TV, DVD player and Hi-fi/CD-set.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms. The 13m2 master bedroom has twin beds, the other 2 bedrooms have double beds (1,40 x 2,00m). All 3 bedrooms lead to the landing area. All beds have mattress protectors, pillows and duvets. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. There's a foldable travel bed, play pen and high chair available.

The kitchen also gives access to the bathroom with toilet and bath tub. The scullery with washing machine lies next to it. Above is the 4th bedroom (18m2) with separate stairway through the scullery. This room also has a double bed (1,40 x 2,00m).

In the house is wireless internet, which can be used at request.

UMGEBUNG & AKTIVITÄTEN

The house is located in a small village. People in the village are easy to approach and always in for a chat. It's a quiet region with no mass tourism. The environment exists of undulated landscape with woods and meadows (with Limousin cows) alternating each other. The meadows are fenced with wood hedges and stone walls.

Villa Felinas lies in-between Ahun (4 km) and Guéret (15 km). Ahun has 2 supermarkets, a few bakeries, butchers, etc. Guéret, the capital of the Creuse, is a medium-sized town with approx. 10 supermarkets and many shops. Guéret has a nice lake (Courtille) with plenty of swimming and playing facilities for children. There's also a large nature park with wolves and a labyrinth garden.

The river the Creuse runs through the rolling landscape at 4km distance from the house. At a number of places you have good access to swim, fishing is possible as well (with license).

From the house you can make excellent walks- and mountain bike trips. There are several signposted tracks in the direct neighborhood (available in the tourist information office). In the wide environment, several brocante markets to visit. During summer, several brocante markets (flea markets) or vide-greniers (car-boot sale) in the entire region.

In the Creuse region are many nice trips to make, e.g. to the charming place Aubusson (renown for its carpets) or one of the many castles of which some can be visited. At 40 km lies Lac Vassivièremet with several water sport facilities.

PREISE UND ZEITEN

Villa Felinas can be rented from April until November (other periods upon agreement)
Prices are per week. During summer months, minimum period of stay is 2 weeks. Rental periods of 2 weeks or more give a 100% reduction to the final cleaning costs (€ 50 euro).

Change-over day is Saturday. The house is accessible from 2 p.m.
In low season it is possible to extend your stay per day (subject to other booked periods).

Normal use of electricity and water is included in the price.
Internet facilities are available at request (25 euro /week).
Security deposit: 150 euro.

Low season: April, May, October, November except from the May Holiday (Holland) and the half term holiday in October.
Mid season: June, September + May Holiday (Holland) and half term holiday in October.
High season: July and August
